Mitt Romney’s comments on the 47% will hurt him in November.
Ever since Mitt Romney’s infamous comment about the 47% tongues have been wagging, and it’s not all good. Romney is notorious for political mis-speak. This comment is the latest example of his political ineptness. The good thing is, he has shown his true colors and what he truly believes. Many who support him now feel alienated, because many of them are part of the 47% That Mr. Romney looks down on from on high.

Todd Akin has insulted women everywhere!
The gift that keeps giving
The Republicans hit an all time low in the persona of Todd Akin, who made the outrageous claim that a woman could not get pregnant if she was raped. This incredibly stupid remark created a firestorm of controversy. His behavior and words were so damning that his fellow Republicans begged him [Akin] not to show his face at the GOP convention this weekend.
Mr. Akin is not alone in showing poor judgement and words. This is only another example of anti-woman rhetoric that has become common place among the GOP. Women are leaving the ranks of the GOP in droves! All of this ultimately plays right into the hands of Pres. Obama and his re-election bid.

Can Romney beat Obama?
If the American electorate was presented with the following candidate you would not vote for him. Someone who would intentionally send jobs overseas, not release his tax returns, hides his vast wealth in offshore bank accounts and protect his rich buddies with tax loopholes, who are in the top 1%.
So the question is, why would you vote for such a man? Simple answer, because he’s white! There is so much vitriol in the loud anti Obama chorus and most of it is tied to the fact that President Obama is black. I can understand if you disagree with his policies or you feel he does not have your interest on political and social issues. Let’s keep it real; most people who support or want to vote for Mitt Romney are doing it for one reason and one reason only; he’s white!

Pres. Obama’s endorsement of Gay marriage has sent shockwaves throughout the world and the U.S. ;will this hurt or help him? The Republicans of course, will use this as political fodder. The big question is, will the black church abandon Pres. Obama’s bid to a second term?
Many want to compare gay marriage to the civil rights struggle of African-Americans in the fifties and sixties. Many Americans are unaware of the significant role of a forgotten civil rights figure in the person of, Bayard Rustin. He was the gay associate and strategist of Dr. Martin Luther King. Mr. Rustin was King’s right hand man and a brilliant strategist. He is also the man behind the enormous success of the 1963 March on Washington.

Rick Santorum Stuns Romney
Religious Zealot or viable candidate?
Don’t count Rick Santorum out just yet. His three state sweep of the Republican caucuses have determined that Mitt Romney may not be the heir apparent that we would like to believe. One thing is for certain as the GOP tries to chose a nominee they feel that can take on President Obama.
Rick Santorum went through Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado like a right-wing blizzard. His tri-state victory should be a wake up call for Romney. It’s not going to be the cake walk that he [Romney] anticipated.

Romney wins Iowa Caucus
Rick Santorum is big winner.
The fat lady has sung in Iowa! Romney was declared the winner however, it seems like Rick Santorum may be the big winner. His hard core social conservatism seemed to win over social conservatives in Iowa.
While Romney is the clear winner, the Republican base seems to still be wary of Mr. Romney. This morning on MSNBC, pundits from the New York Times stated that Mitt Romney will have trouble in the south because of his religion (Mormon). That may or may not be the case, however, he is just not seen as conservative enough to satisfy the Republican base, who are still trying to anoint anyone but him [Romney].

2011 was an interesting year indeed. 2012 promises to the very interesting year. We have presidential election in November 2012, there are many people on both sides of the political spectrum that have a lot invested in outcome of that election. The smart money says President Obama will win reelection. There are many of you. Reading this will not agree my assessment; President Obama has numerous victories in this past year that will merit his reelection.
President Obama’s most recent victory was the extension of the job tax credit. Despite of a Republican Party’s major focus is to disrupt and stonewall All President Obama’s ideas, he has prevailed. In spite of Republican opposition and obstruction, president Obama has won success on many fronts.
The killing of Osama bin Laden, the killing of Muammar Gaddaafi, stock market record single day in trading volume in the last eight years, and improving job market and economy will surely guarantee president Obama’s reelection. Granted this is something many who oppose him do not wish to hear. So let’s give credit where credit is due!

As the debate rages on about the state of the American economy, one thing is for certain, it hasn’t diminished American’s desire for a good deal. We just had Black Friday, and by all accounts, sales were good. When Cyber Monday started in 2006, it made headway into increasing consumer spending as we head into the holiday season. By all accounts, sales from Cyber Monday (one day of online shopping) is expected to net $1.3 Billion in sales.
