Sarah Palin really scares me! Her most recent gaffe on the Glenn Beck show proves how spectacularly stupid she is! Anyone with half a brain yelled out a resounding WTF! The following article was submitted by ABC News.
Was it a simple blunder or did a possible 2012 presidential contender really get her geography wrong? That’s the question being debated after Sarah Palin said in an interview with Glenn Beck Wednesday that North Korea was a U.S. ally.
The vicious attack on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was horrific but not surprising. As shocking and repugnant as the attack was, it was inevitable. There has been a climate of hate and intolerance that has been in the air since President Obama’s election.
Rep. Giffords by all accounts was a moderate democrat, not quite a blue dog democrat. She was pro NRA and a staunch defender of the constitution. She narrowly defeated a tea party candidate winning a third term during the mid-term elections. Not quite the liberal target you would suspect for such a politically motivated attack.
“Quid Pro Quo” How to Raise Your Political Capital In the Republican Party
Has it occurred to anyone that, despite the loyal support and activism from black republicans, that the GOP does not REALLY want blacks in leadership in America? That blacks are expected to accept the limited role of being USED as tokens for campaign purposes and, more recently on a national level, attack dogs to bark and chew at President Obama, Micheal Steele, and all things black?
Sarah Palin really scares me! Her most recent comment on the Glenn Beck Show proves how spectacularly stupid she is! Her latest blunder has anyone with half a brain yelling out a resounding WTF! The following story was submitted by HUMA KHAN of ABC News.
Was is it a simple blunder or did a possible 2012 presidential contender really get her geography wrong? That’s the question being debated after Sarah Palin said in an interview with Glenn Beck Wednesday that North Korea was a U.S. ally.
The following letter was written by Danny Baker of Kingman, AZ.
I would ask senators McCain and especially Kyl how they can withhold support for the START treaty continuation that is so vital to the security of this country. I remind them how START was a major treaty for Ronald Reagan during the end of the Cold War with Russia. This agreement allows the famous “trust but verify” to continue and should not be allowed to expire.
OTTAWA — In the United States, Thanksgiving approaches. The post-mortem of 2010 yields to the narrative of 2012, which likens Barack Obama to Jimmy Carter and Sarah Palin to Ronald Reagan.
Is this Sarah Palin’s moment or what? Her “reality” show bout Alaska draws a large audience, her flat-footed daughter Bristol survives on Dancing with the Stars, and on Tuesday Palin will release her second book, following the runaway success of her memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life.
In a recent interview with Larry King, former first lady Barbara Bush said that she hopes that Sarah Palin stays in Alaska. It was reassuring to hear a Republican make that statement. Most sane people regardless of party affiliation feel the same way.
To be brutally honest, the prospect of Sarah Palin as our next president scares the hell out of me! Her influence on the Republican Party has been overstated in recent months. Of the candidates that she backed during the midterm elections a few were elected, however the majority did not capture the electorates imagination.
A Few Good Men -The ax has fallen on the fate of Gen. Stanley McChrystal; His insubordination has cost him his job. This is not the first time a general has been called on the carpet by the president. History is full of examples where presidents and generals have clashed.
The most notable examples of history are the famous clashes between Pres. Abraham Lincoln and General George B. McClellan. General McClellan frustrated Pres. Lincoln more and longer than any other general during the Civil War. He was eventually replaced by Gen. Ulysses S. Grant. We all know how the story ends.
The poster boy [Rand Paul] for tea bagger reform has managed to blow it. His honeymoon didn’t last long. Talk about a major stumble! Mr. Paul only dug the hole deeper as he tried to explain his position on civil rights. No sooner than he finished his interview, all his right wing supporters were distancing themselves from his remarks.
The only exception was with GOP Chairman Michael Steele. In his pathetic defense of Mr. Paul’s remarks; He seemed to be oblivious to the fact that if Rand Paul had his way, Mr. Steele couldn’t live where he lives due to racist restrictive covenants that were so prevalent before the civil rights bill was passed.
What is the rights explanation; He’s a political neophyte! You think so? Rand Paul found out how quickly your star can fall in the national spotlight. His celebrity will be short lived as pundits pick him apart on the national stage.
He canceled a scheduled appearance on Meet the Press with David Gregory. That was probably the only intelligent thing he did. Can you imagine how he would have been raked over the coals on national television? Just thinking about it makes me shudder!
I really get a kick out of the tea baggers; they want to take their country back? If you read between the lines, I think what they’re really saying is, we don’t like that colored guy in charge! They see black and all they see is a radical liberal. How can that be? The left is miffed at President Obama for not being liberal enough.
The midterm elections may not be the bloodbath the GOP is predicting. Yes, we have BP, immigration, financial reform etc. All things considered Mr. Obama has weathered the storm well. He’s had a lot to say grace over.
This author has this prediction. The GOP, Rand Paul and the tea baggers will self destruct with acute foot in mouth disease. They never let me down, it’s great!
